Latisse®

Latisse® (bimatoprost 0.03%) is a convenient and proven effective solution for thin and sparse eyelashes. With regular use, this lash enhancement treatment can help you achieve longer, darker, and thicker eyelashes for that expressive and seductive look you’ve always wanted.

An Introduction to Latisse®

Latisse® is a topical prescription medication developed by Allergan, the same markers of injectable cosmetic treatments, Botox and Juvederm. It was first launched in Canada in 2015 and is the first and only FDA-approved treatment for hypotrichosis or inadequate eyelashes due to poor growth.

Latisse® is an offshoot of Lumigan, an eyedrop prescribed to treat high pressure in the eyes or ocular hypertension in people with glaucoma. However, researchers discovered that patients who use this product regularly developed thicker and darker lashes as a welcome side effect.

This led to the development of Latisse® as a cosmetic lash enhancement treatment.

Who Can Benefit from Latisse®

Latisse® can be most helpful for people with hypotrichosis or inadequate eyelashes.

With continuous applications on the lash line of your upper eyelids, you’ll notice subtle and gradual changes in the colour, thickness, and quality of your eyelashes. This amazing product can help you achieve a fuller and more dramatic look. Expect to see full results two to four months after you buy Latisse®.

Nevertheless, it’s important to note that the beautiful lash-enhancing benefits of Latisse® are not permanent and can only be enjoyed as long as you’re using the product. Once you discontinue its use, your eyelashes will return to how they originally looked.

Buy Latisse®  Online

Latisse® is an FDA-approved treatment for growing long and healthy lashes. Because it is a prescription drug, you need your doctor’s approval to buy Latisse® for your lashes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

When you buy Latisse®, you’ll notice that it comes packed with sterile applicators. Use it to apply the product every night on your upper eyelids or the base of the lashes. Make sure that you have a freshly cleansed face and not wearing any makeup or contact lenses when applying to avoid irritation. One drop of the liquid solution is enough.

It typically takes around 15 minutes for your lashes to absorb Latisse® and for the product to completely dry.

There is still no accurate explanation as to why and how Latisse® exactly works. However, it is believed that bimatoprost, its active ingredient, stimulates anagen or the active growth phase.

You can see your lashes starting to grow thicker, longer, and darker within a couple of months of religious application of Latisse®. However, the maximum results become more noticeable after three to four months. Results may also vary depending on each person.

No. Latisse® is not a substitute for mascara, although they can complement each other’s lash-enhancing effects.

Do not use other applicators other than the disposable ones that come with the product. Avoid letting the tip of the bottle and applicator come into contact with other surfaces that could potentially introduce bacteria and cause ocular irritation or infections.

Although very rare, Latisse® may cause redness and itching of the eyelids in some patients who may be allergic to some of its ingredients. Hence, a doctor’s prescription is required before you can buy Latisse® to prevent this from happening.

Skin hyperpigmentation or darkening of the eyelids is a common side effect of Latisse®. It is only temporary and will fade away in a few weeks or a month’s time after you stop using the product. Always blot or wipe excess serum that can drip from the lash line.

Yes. Some people reported increased brown pigmentation in their iris after using products with bimatoprost.
